Day 147 of year 4 (November 23, 2011)

Opened the last of Nagyi’s gifts that daddy was holding for me

Biting off the head of the “mezeskalacs” (ginger bread) teddy bear with religious devotion

Holding the balloon from Aunt Panni’s wedding with my knees

Day 144 of year 4 (November 20, 2011)

Oh no! What’s happening to Gumby?

In an enchanted land

On an enchanted neck

Cheerfull family

Licking spoon

Here comes the good stuff

And my back is nicely warmed by fire

The origin of the froyo

Loving it

Day 143 of year 4 (November 19, 2011)

It’s such a long way down

But I made it

Reading to Uncle Dinn

Then to myself

Day 141 of year 4 (November 17, 2011)

Why is it wrong to ask for chopsticks in a Mexican restaurant?

Waiting for my food

I am really hungry

Now I am bean-powered

Day 137 of year 4 (November 13, 2011) – Part 4: Afternoon/Evening

At an ambient Mural

Getting a goodie from the gumball machine

Admiring little people in a fancy window

I like it

The monster (from the gumball machine) watches me eating my frozen yogurt

At a funny fountain

I see the river

Walking on life’s narrow bridge

Some of us were getting tired

Ready to run again

Or carried away

I don’t like my hair being brushed

I’d rather do it myself

137 of year 4 (November 13, 2011) – Part 3: Lunch

Wrapping a gift for mama

Giving it my full attention

Oh, happy girl

Oyh, what was I thinking?

Why did the spoon slide into the fork?

One sour, one funny face

I just cannot be sour

This is almost natural though

Quack

Learning about knuckles

I am about this tall

Day 137 of year 4 (November 13, 2011) – Part 2: Petaluma

We finally got out of the car in Petaluma

Sitting in a toy store

Found a toy I never played with before

Why is this sign in a children’s store?

Riding a white cow

Arrived to our destination: the pirate exhibition at the Petaluma Historical Museum

I was a bit museum-shy first

But then started to learn the ropes

Found myself at the right sized ship

Making my own pirate flag

I had a chair almost like that

I really wanted to get onto that, but Daddy didn’t allow it

Admiring the delicate view

Not exactly a free ride

“Two chefses” – I said, being amazed by the two sides of the sign

Dazzled in a Christmas store

Who is the guy in red?

Day 137 of year 4 (November 13, 2011) – Part 1: Morning

I demanded chocolate milk the minute I woke up

Then I was ready for my pancake

After breakfast it was stamping time

Let’s build tracks here

And now we can play with them

Marble time

I.Can.Reach.It

Observing the marble going down

A different view of our toy-covered living room

Look, Dad! I am upside down.

Getting fussy in the car

Day 136 of year 4 (November 12, 2011)

It’s time to wake up

Waky-waky

What? Is there something funny in my hair?

Rachel, a friend stopped by

Stuffing socks

L-R: Stella, Curious George, Nagyi via Skype from Hungary

Mom keeping me away from the Daily Show on Hulu

No, I don’t want any more quesadilla

Do I have to?

Stretching the limits of (reality) hairband

The recipe said “apply a thin layer of creamcheese”

To rub, or not to rub?
